I'm currently working with a well-regarded planning consultancy in Bristol that’s looking to bring an Assistant Planner into their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a graduate or early-career planner who wants exposure to a broad range of planning projects and genuine support towards professional development and RTPI accreditation.
The Opportunity
You’ll be joining an established and friendly team, working alongside experienced planners on projects spanning residential, commercial, and mixed-use development. The company has a strong pipeline of work and a reputation for investing in their people.
Typical responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the preparation and submission of planning applications
- Assisting with site appraisals and planning research
- Drafting planning statements and supporting documentation
- Liaising with local authorities, consultees, and clients
- Tracking applications and appeals
