I’m working with a highly reputable consultancy looking to appoint an experienced Senior Planner to join their team in Birmingham.

This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a varied portfolio of projects, provide strategic planning advice and work closely with clients, developers and local authorities to deliver successful planning outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage planning applications and projects from inception through to approval.
- Provide strategic planning advice to clients and key stakeholders.
- Liaise with local authorities, consultants and developers.
- Undertake planning appraisals and identify development opportunities.
- Support junior team members and contribute to the wider success of the team.

About You:

- \n
- Experience in town planning, ideally within a consultancy environment.
- Strong knowledge of the UK planning system and development process.
- Excellent project management, communication and client-facing skills.
- A proactive, commercially minded approach with the ability to manage multiple projects.
