We’re excited to announce our new role with a Civil Engineering Consultancy in Birmingham. This company is not just focused on tackling Engineering solutions, but is devoted to sustainable, efficient designs which promote reducing carbon emissions. In joining this team, you’ll be a visionary leader and confidently guide the team of Civil Engineers through some amazing projects whilst maintaining teamwork, diversity and excellence.
The Role:
- Collaborate with directors and associates to deliver a diverse range of projects.
- Mentor, coach and manage a team of Civil Engineers, whilst promoting growth and teamwork.
- Ensure outstanding project delivery leaning on the expertise of your team and the wider teams.
- Lead the financial aspects of projects and ensure efficiency and profitability is met.
- Confidently build client relationships and explore new avenues for future projects.
Technical skills:
- Software Savvy - Ideally mastered in Civils 3D or drainage modelling software.
- Expertise in Drainage Networks e.g. InfoDrainage and MicroDrainage.
- Thorough understanding of National and Local Planning policy and within Flood Risk Assessments.
- Knowledge of current UK design standards and an active role in drainage and highway sectional works with relevant authorities.
- Proficiency in designing paved and asphalt surfaces, earthwork specifications and industrial concrete slabs.
The ideal Senior Civil Engineer will have proven experience creating and sustaining long lasting client relationships and be able to lead Civil Engineering projects across a range of sectors.
