We’re currently representing a well-established planning consultancy in Manchester that is looking to strengthen its team with the appointment of an experienced Planning Consultant.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their planning career and gain exposure to a wide range of development projects across the North West.
The role will involve:
- Managing planning applications from inception through to determination
- Advising clients on planning strategy and development potential
- Preparing planning appraisals, statements and reports
- Liaising with local authorities, consultants and stakeholders
- Supporting business development and client relationships
- Attending site visits and planning meetings
- Working across residential, commercial and mixed-use projects
We’re looking for:
- Experience within a planning consultancy or local authority
- Strong knowledge of the UK planning system
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills
- Good commercial awareness
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- MRTPI qualification or progression towards chartership would be advantageous
