The QA Lead, reporting to the Head of Engineering, will play a crucial role in ensuring quality across all geographies. This involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and uphold our global quality standards. Strong product understanding, collaboration, communication, and leadership skills are essential. This role is based in London.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain automation frameworks for mobile and web applications using tools like Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, and Appium.
2. Create and execute automated test scripts in Java, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
3. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
4. Design and implement test scripts.
5. Conduct performance and load testing to ensure high-quality standards.
6. Execute test cases, document results, update progress, and track bugs.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment, participating in sprint planning and code reviews.
8. Manage test data and environments.
9. Document testing procedures, results, and generate reports for stakeholders.
10. Stay current with QA best practices and seek continuous improvement.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Effective communication skills.
2. Proficiency in remote collaboration.
3. Problem-solving and analytical skills.
4. 5+ years in automation testing roles.
5. Experience with automation tools like Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Appium, Cucumber.
6. Strong coding skills in Java, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
7. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
8. Previous experience in the financial industry.
9. Experience working within Agile and sprint-based development cycles.
10. Knowledge of blockchain technologies.
