Zocca Cucina Italiana , our new concept in Dedham Square.

We are seeking candidates that have worked with brick oven pizza, know how to stretch dough by hand, or a candidate who is willing to learn!

Previous cooking experience is a must.

We are looking for part time or full time pizza cooks, and have positions available for lunch or dinner shifts.

What you will do

  • Set up the pizza station in the morning, or restock before dinner service.
  • Prep ingredients before and during service.
  • Stretch, top, and cook pizzas, cook wood oven roasted chicken wings, salmon, etc. in the brick oven.
  • Breakdown station at the end of the day.
  • Communicate with the chef any issues, low counts, or 86’s.

Who we are looking for

  • Knife skills, general preparation knowledge, food safety a must.
  • Able to communicate with the chef and the rest of the kitchen staff.

• Able to work in a fast paced environment; we make a lot of pizza!

• Willing to learn new recipes and even create some of your own!

Detail of Responsibilities (included but not limited to)

  • Set up station before service
  • Cut and prepare ingredients for pizza
  • Prepare and par cook meatballs, wings, salmon, sauces, etc.
  • Stretch dough, ladle and spread sauce, add toppings, cook pizza in oven using pizza peel, check for temperature of meat cooked in wood fired oven
  • Refill station between lunch and dinner, break down station at the end of the night, making sure everything is labeled and dated.
  • Follow food safety guidelines at all times.
  • All major holidays off.
