Working closely with account leads, strategists, creatives, paid specialists and external partners, you'll ensure programmes are integrated, effective and aligned to wider communications and business objectives.

This role includes direct line management responsibility for junior members of the social and creator team and will play an important role in developing talent, maintaining delivery excellence and contributing to the continued growth of ZDX's social and creator offering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Leadership & Strategic Counsel
  • Lead social and creator programmes across a portfolio of clients, providing strategic counsel and ensuring activity aligns with broader communications and business objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong senior client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor on social media, content and creator marketing.
  • Lead client meetings, workshops and planning sessions, confidently presenting strategies, recommendations and campaign results.
  • Identify opportunities to expand digital scopes of work and drive integrated solutions across social, influencer, content and paid activity.
  • Support senior agency leads in developing long-term client growth plans and digital roadmaps.
  • Social & Creator Programme Leadership
  • Oversee the development and execution of social media strategies, content programmes and creator partnerships across platforms including Instagram, Tik Tok, Linked In, Facebook and You Tube.
  • Lead creator and influencer programmes from planning through execution, including talent identification, negotiations, contracting, briefing, content approvals, campaign management and reporting.
  • Ensure content programmes are audience-led, culturally relevant and aligned with platform best practices.
  • Work closely with creative, strategy and paid teams to develop integrated campaigns that deliver against client objectives.
  • Maintain quality control across all social and creator output, ensuring work meets client expectations and agency standards.
  • Performance, Insight & Optimisation
  • Lead measurement frameworks and reporting approaches across social, creator and paid programmes.
  • Translate campaign and platform performance into actionable insights and strategic recommendations for clients.
  • Champion the use of social listening, audience insight and performance data to inform content and campaign planning.
  • Stay ahead of platform developments, creator trends and emerging digital behaviours, sharing relevant insights with clients and internal teams.
  • Support clients in understanding evolving platform opportunities, creator best practices and industry developments.
  • Team Leadership & Capability Building
  • Line manage and develop junior members of the ZDX team, providing regular feedback, coaching, performance management and development support.
  • Conduct one-to-ones, development reviews and performance conversations with direct reports.
  • Oversee workload allocation across team members, ensuring projects are appropriately resourced and delivered efficiently.
  • Foster a collaborative and supportive team culture, helping to develop social, creator and digital capabilities across the wider agency.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding and training of new team members where required.
  • Champion best practice across social and creator marketing, helping raise standards and knowledge across the team.
  • Financial & Commercial Management

  • Ensure projects are scoped appropriately and delivered efficiently against agreed budgets and objectives.
  • Monitor team utilisation and resource allocation, proactively identifying challenges and solutions.

  • Support the development of ZDX's social and creator offering, identifying new opportunities, tools and approaches that strengthen our proposition.
  • Contribute to agency thought leadership, marketing initiatives and external profile-building opportunities where appropriate.
  • Ideal Candidate Profile
