Account Executive – B2B Technology PR team. Full‑time; 37.5 hours per week. Salary £30K–£32K. Minimum two days in central London office; remainder remote.
Responsibilities
- Build on your understanding of PR processes, client/agency relationships, media relations, content development, social media trends, and ensure smooth running of client programmes.
- Drive media coverage, prepare first drafts of written content, support admin and reporting, conduct media and trends research, create social media content and brainstorm new ideas for clients.
- Use suite of AI tools (ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, etc.) to add depth to thinking and streamline tasks.
- Build supplier and media contacts.
- Media materials creation.
- Media outreach and relationship building.
- Organising and researching media, speaker and award opportunities.
- Writing social posts, short comments, blogs and reports.
- Collect, collate and distribute media coverage, including online monitoring.
- Online research using social media tools and techniques.
- Support running of client accounts, keep team organised.
- Use AI platforms (ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) for research, analytics and organisation.
Qualifications
- You love writing and are confident using client insights and messaging to craft engaging content.
- You understand the technology, B2B and business media landscape and can pitch stories to journalists.
- You build media contacts and explore emerging media (podcasts, newsletters).
- You are proficient in using basic media tools to research and analyse journalists, influencers and client competition.
- You are a people person, comfortable dealing with journalist enquiries, meetings, and building professional relationships.
- You are organised, focused, deliver high‑quality work, manage multiple workloads and deadlines, and pay close attention to detail.
- You have a basic understanding of technology (cloud services, AI, etc.) and are curious about AI tools.
