ZKTeco UK is looking for a Sales Coordinator to join our team in the UK. ZKTeco UK is a subsidiary of ZKTeco Europe, supporting the UK market with a Customer Experience Centre and a strong network of dedicated distributors. We operate with a small, dynamic team specialising in sales, marketing, technical support, and logistics, offering a collaborative and fast‑paced working environment. ZKTeco UK is based in Birmingham, where our UK office is located.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Outbound Sales Support & Customer Engagement
- Making outbound calls to existing customers to maintain engagement and support repeat business.
- Contacting new prospects to introduce company products and identify potential opportunities.
- Following up on enquiries, quotations, and lapsed customers to support sales activity.
- Supporting Sales Leaders by identifying and qualifying opportunities for further development.
- Supporting Sales Leaders in building and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline.
- Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions, leads, and opportunities within CRM systems.
- Following up on open opportunities and quotations to maintain momentum.
- Providing regular updates to Sales Leaders on customer activity and feedback.
- Providing day-to-day administrative support for Sales, Operations and Finance (phone and email enquiries).
- Processing quotations, orders, and customer requests accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintaining customer records and sales data within ERP systems (including SAP).
- Coordinating with internal teams to ensure orders and customer requirements are delivered correctly and on time.
- Ensuring adherence to internal processes, including returns (RMA) and order procedures.
- Acting as a point of contact for customer enquiries and providing a high standard of service.
- Providing product information, pricing, and availability in support of the sales process.
- Maintaining strong working relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Supporting preparation of quotations, proposals, and customer communications.
- Assisting with sales and marketing campaigns, events and initiatives as required.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Previous experience in a sales or sales support role desirable.
- Good computer literacy (email, MS Office, CRM/ERP systems – SAP desirable).
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Confident and professional telephone manner.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn and develop within a sales environment.
- Ability to work independently, with initiative, and as part of a small hybrid team.
