Role Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior OT Cybersecurity Consultant to deliver technical cybersecurity solutions across Operational Technology (OT) and CNI environments.
The role focuses on designing and implementing secure OT architectures, working closely with client engineering teams, and supporting the delivery of complex, high-impact cybersecurity projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and deliver secure OT network and cybersecurity architectures aligned with industry best practices.
- Produce technical documentation, including low-level designs, network diagrams, firewall rule sets, and data flow documentation.
- Facilitate technical workshops with client OT engineers, IT teams, and technology stakeholders.
- Develop solutions that balance cybersecurity requirements with operational priorities, including availability, safety, and legacy system constraints.
- Manage technical deliverables, monitor project progress, and communicate risks or dependencies.
- Contribute to the development of reusable methodologies, technical standards, and proposal activities.
- Mentor junior team members and support continuous improvement within the OT cybersecurity practice.
Skills & Experience
- Demonstrable experience delivering technical cybersecurity solutions within OT environments.
- Strong understanding of OT network security, segmentation, IT/OT boundary design, and security architecture.
- Knowledge of industrial control systems and OT technologies, such as SCADA, PLCs, RTUs, HMIs, and DCS.
- Experience with firewall technologies, virtualisation, and network infrastructure in operational environments.
- Familiarity with industry standards and frameworks such as IEC 62443, NIST SP 800-82, NIST 800-53, CIS, and STIG.
- Excellent technical documentation and stakeholder communication skills.
