ZJC Group are currently recruiting for 5 experienced Painters and Decorators to join a well-established contractor delivering Social Housing maintenance and refurbishment works. This is a long-term contract offering consistent, ongoing work for reliable and skilled decorators who take pride in delivering high-quality finishes to tight turnaround schedules.

The Role

You will be working across void social housing properties, carrying out full painting and decorating works to a consistently high standard. This role suits someone who can work independently, manage their time effectively, and take ownership of their work.

Key duties include:

  • Full preparation of surfaces filling, sanding, and priming
  • Application of paint to walls, ceilings, woodwork, and metalwork
  • Hanging wallpaper where required
  • Working to void specifications and sign-off standards
  • Ensuring all works are completed safely and in line with regulations
  • Maintaining a clean and tidy working environment throughout

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Painter and Decorator within social housing maintenance
  • NVQ Level 2 or above in Painting and Decorating (preferred)
  • Valid CSCS Card (essential)
  • Own tools (essential)
  • Ability to pass a basic DBS check
  • Reliable, professional, and able to work independently to deadlines
