ZJC Group are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi Trade Operative to join a well-established and growing contractor delivering reactive maintenance and refurbishment works across social housing properties in West London. This is a long-term contract offering consistent, ongoing work for reliable and skilled operatives who take pride in delivering high-quality finishes.
The Role
You will be working across occupied and void social housing properties, carrying out a variety of maintenance and repair tasks. This is a varied role suited to someone confident across multiple trades and able to work independently.
Key duties include:
- Carpentry (repairs, installations, doors, kitchens)
- Tiling in kitchens and bathrooms
- Painting and decorating to a high standard
- Plastering and patch repairs
- Basic electrical works (e.g. sockets, light fittings)
- General maintenance and refurbishment tasks
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with regulations
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Multi Trade Operative within social housing or maintenance
- Strong all-round skillset across core trades
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in a relevant trade (preferred)
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- Own van and tools (essential)
- Asbestos Awareness certificate
- Ability to pass a basic DBS check
- Reliable, professional, and able to work independently
