Our story Zizzi started in 1999 with one oven and a big dream of doing Italian food, our way. We don't do bland food, people or restaurants. You'll know us for bubbly pizza, fresh pasta and good times. But behind every new dish, seasonal special and guest favourite is a team making it happen. That's where you come in.

About The Role As our Food Development Coordinator, you'll help bring new menus and food projects to life across more than 130 restaurants. Working closely with our Head of Food & Drink and wider Food Team, you'll coordinate menu launches from concept through to restaurant rollout. You'll be the person connecting suppliers, Marketing, Operations, Training, Quality Systems and Supply Chain, making sure projects stay on track and every detail is ready for launch.

A big part of the role is managing product, recipe, allergen, nutrition and costing information across our systems. You'll help ensure the right information reaches the right people at the right time, supporting safe, successful and commercially strong menu launches. You'll also get involved in menu tastings, product evaluations and food development activity, working alongside the team behind some of Zizzi's best-loved dishes.

What you'll do:

  • Help deliver menu launches, seasonal specials and food projects from concept to restaurant rollout.
  • Build and manage project plans, timelines and launch milestones.
  • Own product, recipe, allergen, nutrition and costing information across multiple systems.
  • Support supplier onboarding, product setup and specification management.
  • Work closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure information is accurate, complete and delivered on time.
  • Support menu tastings, product evaluations and food development activity.
  • Produce reports, competitor reviews and market insights.
  • Help ensure every launch is delivered successfully, on time and to Zizzi's high standards.

What's in it for you?

  • A mix of office (min. 3 days per week), field-based and home working.
  • The opportunity to learn, grow and build your career with one of the UK's leading hospitality brands.
  • Extra holiday for long service and the option to buy up to 5 more days each year.
  • 50% discount at Zizzi, plus discounts across the wider Azzurri Group family.
  • 24/7 Virtual GP and Employee Assistance Programme.
  • Access your earned wages before payday with Stream.
  • Income protection cover.
  • Cycle to Work scheme and interest-free season ticket loan.

What we're looking for:

  • Someone who loves organisation, planning and making things happen.
  • Confidence working with systems, spreadsheets and data.
  • A great eye for detail and a knack for spotting things others might miss.
  • The ability to juggle multiple priorities and stay cool when deadlines are approaching.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence working with different teams.
  • An interest in food, restaurants and how great menu ideas become reality.
  • Curiosity, enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
  • Experience in hospitality, administration, project coordination, food development or a similar environment would be a bonus.

Why you'll fit right in We love individuality. Whether you're a spreadsheet wizard, a foodie, a project-planning enthusiast, or someone who simply loves making things happen behind the scenes, there's a place for you here. We're a Times Top 500 Employer because we celebrate everyone's differences. If you're looking for a role where you can learn, grow and make an impact, we'd love to hear from you.
