We are currently recruiting for a skilled Safety & Security Support Engineer to join a prestigious client site in Knightsbridge, Central London. This is a fully site-based role supporting a high-end environment, focused on maintaining and optimising enterprise-level Video Management Systems. This position is ideal for an experienced engineer with strong VMS knowledge, particularly Genetec, who enjoys working in a client-facing, technically demanding environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide onsite support, maintenance and fault resolution across VMS and integrated security systems
  • Carry out moves, adds and changes across CCTV infrastructure and associated hardware
  • Monitor system performance and ensure optimal operation of all security systems
  • Diagnose and resolve faults across IP-based CCTV, networking and associated systems
  • Maintain accurate documentation of system changes, faults and maintenance activities
  • Act as a key point of contact for internal teams including SOC and IT/Network functions
  • Ensure all systems meet compliance and operational standards
Requirements
  • Strong hands-on experience with Genetec VMS (essential)
  • Background in CCTV / IP CCTV / Security Systems Engineering
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (IP, cabling, connectivity)
  • Experience carrying out maintenance, fault finding and system optimisation
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a client-facing environment
  • Ability to work independently within a live, high-profile site
