We're partnering with an established and highly respected security systems integrator that delivers complex fire and electronic security solutions across commercial, corporate and high-profile environments throughout the UK and internationally.
As part of their continued growth, they're looking to appoint an experienced Engineering Operations Manager to lead project delivery, service operations and engineering teams, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you'll take ownership of engineering operations across installation, service and maintenance activities, managing multiple projects ranging from small works through to major security programmes.
You'll be responsible for:
- Leading and developing engineering, project and service teams
- Overseeing the successful delivery of fire and security projects from inception through to handover
- Managing operational performance, quality, compliance and customer satisfaction
- Supporting commercial performance, project profitability and contract delivery
- Ensuring adherence to H&S regulations, RAMS, CDM and industry best practice
- Maintaining accreditation standards including NSI and other compliance requirements
- Providing technical leadership, guidance and operational support across the business
What We're Looking For
- Proven leadership experience within the Fire & Security sector
- Strong background managing projects, service delivery and engineering teams
- Good understanding of integrated electronic security systems
- Experience overseeing operational performance, budgets and customer relationships
- Knowledge of NEC and/or JCT contracts
- IOSH Managing Safely, SSSTS or SMSTS certification
- Full UK Driving Licence
Experience within fit-out, principal contractor or large-scale commercial project environments would be highly advantageous.
