Embedded Security Project Manager - Consultancy
Location: UK - Greater London or surrounding areas preferred
Package: £70K - £90K DOE
Travel: Remote role with some EMEA travel required at times and occasional office visits
Scope of the role:
- Embedded with one client covering multiple sites across the UK and EMEA.
- Manage the implementation of security projects through the phases of design review, construction administration and commissioning.
- Participate in project progress meetings with activities not limited to planning, coordination, and provision of project status updates regarding ongoing security design and construction projects.
- Compile project data from various systems to ensure project coordination, invoicing, payments, and project completion.
- Maintain an overview of project schedule activity, actual spend versus budget, contract review and adherence validation of activity, and other project performance specific information.
- Perform project management activity specifically relating to security electronics and collaborate and coordinate as needed with other project disciplines and partners.
- Provide design review, implementation verification, and quality control oversight to projects engaged in.
- Meet budget, quality control, and scheduling requirements for assigned projects.
- Track any project related issues and work with the project team members to develop and implement efficient and strategic resolution, providing documented follow up on activities around such issues.
- Responsible for effective communication both with internal and external stakeholders utilizing the client's project documentation processes.
- Develop and implement best practices, standards, and processes in line with the Project Management Institute best practices and as defined by the client job requirements.
- Escalate any issues deemed requiring immediate response and awareness to the appropriate designated client authority.
You will need:
- Proven track record in delivering Security projects within the Data Centre environment, ideally exceeding £1M, preferably in both the UK and EMEA.
- Integration or consultancy background considered.
- An excellent technical background including good knowledge in design of enterprise security systems.
