Our company is a leading reactive service company with five specialised divisions, known for providing top-tier service, preventative maintenance (PPM), repairs, and fault diagnostics. They primarily serve property management companies and major clients, ensuring high standards in all our services.
The Role:
We are seeking a skilled Gates, Barriers & Roller Shutter Engineer to join our dedicated team. This role focuses on reactive service work, PPM, fault diagnosis, and repairs. While installation experience is not required, there is an opportunity for future training in this area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct reactive service work, repairs, and PPM on gates, barriers, and roller shutters.
- Diagnose and resolve faults efficiently to maintain client satisfaction.
- Cover London (primarily outskirts of M25) and Southampton for service work.
- Participate in a 1-in-4 on-call rotation for emergency response.
Competitive salary of £45,000 - £50,000 per annum. Travel paid, fully stocked sign-written company vehicle, and fuel card. Company mobile phone, uniform, and PPE. Full access to trade accounts. Additional pay for on-call work (1 in every 4 weeks). Training opportunities for courses beneficial to both engineer and business.
PAYE Employees:
- Enrollment in a pension scheme after 3 months of service.
- 20 days of holiday plus bank holidays.
- Statutory Sick Pay (SSP).
Requirements:
- Proven experience in servicing gates, barriers, and roller shutters.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Valid UK driving license.
- Willingness to travel.
- Ability to participate in on-call rotation (1 in 4 weeks).
