We are currently looking to recruit a Fire & Security Service Engineer to join our growing team, covering the Greater London area. This role will initially focus more on security systems, with an exciting opportunity to become increasingly involved in fire systems as our fire division launches and expands over the coming months.

Role Overview

The successful engineer will be responsible for the service, maintenance, fault finding, and small works across a range of fire and security systems. This is a varied, field-based role requiring a proactive and customer-focused approach.

  • Servicing and planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) on security and fire systems
  • Fault finding, diagnostics, and reactive call-outs
  • Carrying out small works, system upgrades, and minor installations
  • Working across a range of systems including CCTV, access control, intruder alarms, and intercoms
  • Delivering high levels of customer service on-site
  • Completing all relevant documentation and reports accurately

Systems & Technology

Experience with the following is highly desirable:

  • Access Control: Brivo (cloud-based systems)
  • CCTV: Eagle Eye, Hanwha, Axis
  • Intruder Alarms: Orisec
  • Intercoms: 2N

What We’re Looking For

  • A multi-disciplined Fire & Security Engineer (or strong security bias with willingness to learn fire)
  • Proven experience in service, maintenance, and fault finding
  • Strong technical knowledge across multiple systems
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Positive attitude and willingness to grow with the business

Package

  • Salary: £40,000 (depending on experience)
  • Door-to-door travel paid (standard rate)
  • Overtime paid at x1.5
  • On-call rota: 1 in 5/6
  • Standby payment provided
  • Additional payment per call-out
  • Door-to-door paid at x1.5 during call-outs
