About the Role
I'm working with one of the UK's leading technology solutions providers who deliver integrated security and smart infrastructure projects that make environments safer, more efficient, and better connected. They're now looking for a Technical Programme Lead to join their growing team — someone who can combine technical delivery, client engagement, and programme management to ensure complex, enterprise-level projects run smoothly from start to finish. It's a fantastic opportunity to step into a pivotal, highly visible role where you'll have real ownership and the support to continue developing your expertise.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading the delivery of multiple integrated security and infrastructure projects across the London region.
- Working closely with clients to develop and deliver tailored, technically robust solutions.
- Managing resources, budgets, and risk to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.
- Providing technical leadership across complex systems including Gallagher, Genetec, Milestone, Lenel, and Veracity.
- Overseeing site operations, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and quality standards.
- Driving collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement across the delivery team.
What You'll Bring
- Proven experience managing or delivering complex technology or security programmes.
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure (firewalls, core and edge switching, virtual environments).
- Hands-on experience with enterprise-level integrated security systems - Genetec certification would be preferred.
- A recognised project management qualification such as APM or PRINCE2 would be desirable.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Full UK driving licence and eligibility for security clearances (DBS / NPPV3 / SC).
Why This Role
This is more than just another technical management role. It's a chance to:
- Lead major projects that genuinely shape smarter, safer environments.
- Work with cutting-edge security and network technologies.
- Enjoy a hybrid setup with flexibility and autonomy.
- Access clear career progression and ongoing training.
- Earn up to £75,000 + car/travel allowance, with long-term growth potential.
If you're a technically minded project professional ready to step up, I'd love to hear from you.
