We are looking for an experienced Commissioning Engineer with a very good understanding of security systems. Many projects require final commissioning and sign off before handover to the client which is ultimately what you would be responsible for.
Package:
- c£50K - £55K package, which includes...
- £40K - £43K basic DOE and systems knowledge
- Door to Door Travel Time (worth c£8K - £10K per annum)
- Overtime
- Company vehicle and you can also expense the train if it's easier
- Enterprise systems training when required
Key areas of Responsibility:
- Working with project managers / key account managers to ensure that a full understanding of the project requirements.
- Carry out system programming in line with project requirements.
- Carry out system testing and documentation for handover.
- Carry out end user training requirements in line with project requirements.
- Ensuring to follow company standard where applicable.
- Final commissioning visits on projects.
- This is seen as a senior position for the right individual.
- Assist with final handover to project Manager/End User.
Person Spec:
- You must be a good communicator, both personally and on email.
- Capable of working under pressure.
- Keen to learn new products and systems.
- Able to work on your own or as part of a team.
- Can be flexible with working hours if required as some projects require out of hours working.
- Organised in approach and methodical on any follow up actions or paperwork as and when required.
Systems Knowledge:
- You will work with a variety of security systems so you should have a good general understanding of IP systems to commissioning level.
- Access Control, CCTV & some Intruder.
