The Opportunity

I’m working with a well-established, growing turnkey security systems integrator operating heavily within the utilities sector (Gas & Water). Due to continued growth, they’re now looking to bring in an experienced Service & Maintenance Engineer to strengthen their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business delivering high-end, enterprise-level security solutions across critical infrastructure environments.

The Role

  • Servicing and maintaining integrated security systems across utility sites
  • Fault finding and delivering first-time fixes wherever possible
  • Supporting reactive callouts (on a rota basis)
  • Carrying out planned & preventative maintenance
  • Assisting with temporary systems (CCTV towers, PID systems)
  • Supporting installation teams on larger projects when required
  • Completing reports via CRM and maintaining high service standards

This is a national role, so occasional overnight stays will be required (all accommodation + meals covered).

What You’ll Be Working On

  • CCTV systems (Axis, Bosch)
  • Access Control & Intercoms
  • Intruder Alarms (PIRs etc.)
  • Perimeter Detection Systems
  • Fibre networks (desirable)
  • Enterprise systems such as Gallagher, Milestone, Commend (desirable)

What They’re Looking For

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of integrated security systems
  • Experience working on utility sites (Gas/Water)
  • Relevant site accreditations (SHEA Gas, Water Hygiene, NG Persons)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • A proactive, team-focused attitude with strong communication skills
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
