I'm currently recruiting for a Security Installation Engineer to join a well-established electronic security business delivering a large utilities project across the South of England. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced installation engineer looking for a stable role with a strong pipeline of work, a supportive management team and no call-out commitment.

The Role

You'll be responsible for the installation, testing and commissioning of electronic security systems across a variety of commercial, industrial and infrastructure environments. Working independently and alongside other engineers, you'll ensure installations are completed to a high standard, in line with customer requirements, industry standards and company procedures. The role will involve regular travel across the South of England, with a company vehicle provided and all necessary equipment supplied.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installation of CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarm and Intercom systems
  • System testing, fault finding and final commissioning activities
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
  • Ensuring installations are completed safely and to a high standard
  • Maintaining accurate job documentation and installation records
  • Working closely with other engineers and operational teams
  • Supporting upgrades and system expansions on existing customer sites
  • Maintaining company equipment, tools and vehicle stock

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience installing electronic security systems
  • Strong knowledge of CCTV, Access Control and Intruder Alarm systems
  • Experience working within commercial or infrastructure environments
  • Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
  • Strong communication and customer-facing skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • ECS/CSCS card advantageous
