As our business continues to grow, we're looking for a Bid Executive to join our commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong technical mindset who enjoys producing high-quality tender submissions and developing winning solutions for major projects.
Working alongside Key Account Managers, Engineering and our Specification team, you'll play a vital role in turning opportunities into successful project wins.
The RoleAs Bid Executive, you'll be responsible for preparing high-quality, commercially competitive bids while ensuring technical accuracy, compliance and attention to detail throughout the tender process. You'll review project specifications, develop tailored technical solutions and coordinate with internal stakeholders to deliver compelling submissions that meet customer requirements and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and coordinate high-quality bid and tender submissions for major projects.
- Review project specifications, drawings and technical documentation to develop suitable solutions.
- Work closely with Key Account Managers to create commercially competitive proposals.
- Laise with the Specification Development Manager to monitor upcoming opportunities and released specifications.
- Ensure all tender documentation is accurate, compliant and submitted within required timescales.
- Act as the technical link between Sales, Commercial and Engineering teams throughout the bid process.
- Maintain organised bid documentation and support continuous improvements to internal bid processes.
We're looking for someone who enjoys solving technical challenges and has the organisation and attention to detail needed to produce winning bids.
Ideally, you'll have:- Previous experience within a bids, tenders or proposals environment.
- A strong technical aptitude with the ability to interpret specifications, drawings and technical documentation.
- Experience within the construction, engineering, security or manufacturing sectors would be advantageous.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to work across multiple departments.
- A commercial mindset with the ability to develop value-driven technical solutions.
- A proactive approach and a desire to continuously improve processes.
