We are looking for an Apprentice Junior Project Manager to join this Security Systems business, based at their Head Office in London.

The Role:

As an Apprentice Junior Project Manager, you’ll gain hands-on experience while working alongside experienced PM's on a wide range of exciting projects. You’ll learn how projects are planned, managed and delivered from start to finish, developing valuable technical, organisational and communication skills along the way. Throughout your apprenticeship, you’ll receive both formal training and on-the-job mentoring, giving you the knowledge and confidence to progress into a Junior Project Manager role upon successful completion of your apprenticeship. This will most likely be a 3 year, level 6 course.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the day-to-day delivery of engineering projects from start to completion.
  • Help monitor project costs and contribute to monthly financial reporting.
  • Assist with resolving technical queries alongside Project Managers and the Technical Services team.
  • Provide administrative and technical support to Field Technicians working on site.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and colleagues.
  • Attend project meetings and assist with recording actions where required.
  • Learn and follow company procedures, client requirements and industry standards.
  • Support compliance with NSI requirements and other relevant legislation.

About you:

  • Above all else you should have an excellent attitude and desire to learn and progress
  • Preferably someone interested in project management and it would be ideal if you're interested in the security systems industry
  • Good level of IT knowledge would be beneficial
  • You must be able to pass security vetting therefore have no unspent criminal convictions
  • You will need to work from the office in London at least 3 days per week
