We are currently recruiting for an experienced and fully qualified Seamstress to join our busy alterations business. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional who takes pride in high-quality work and enjoys delivering excellent customer service in a hands-on, customer-facing role.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Carrying out a wide range of garment alterations including everyday clothing, bridal and formalwear, curtains, dance costumes, and more.
- Conducting fittings with customers, offering advice and ensuring a high standard of finish.
- Managing customer interactions in a friendly, professional manner.
- Maintaining a tidy and efficient work area.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role (preferably within an alterations shop).
- Fully qualified in sewing and garment alterations.
- Strong fitting skills and experience working directly with the public.
- Excellent attention to detail and finishing skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
