Job Description
Team Lead role in this exciting climate-tech scale-up helping businesses navigate the transition to a low-carbon economy , delivering practical solutions and measurable ESG impact . From SMEs to large enterprises, they pair science-led expertise with cutting-edge technology to help their clients make real progress on net-zero goals and ESG compliance.
For their next stage of growth, they’re looking for an experienced carbon consultant to take a leadership role in their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to guide a talented group of consultants and carbon accountants while helping businesses develop and implement strategies that create lasting value.
In this role, you’ll act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, including C-suite executives and investors. You’ll manage high-impact client projects, develop further carbon and ESG services, and contribute to the company’s ongoing growth. A key part of your role will also involve collaborating on sustainability technology, helping to scale its impact and ensure it aligns with emerging frameworks like TCFD, SECR, CSRD, and SFDR .
Beyond project work, you’ll have the chance to shape team culture—championing collaboration, inclusivity, and professional development to build a high-performing, motivated group.
We are looking for an experienced sustainability consultant with a solid understanding of carbon accounting and reporting frameworks, experience of running and growing a team and managing senior stakeholders externally. This would be an ideal role for someone transitioning from a sustainability consultancy in a managerial position.
