Job Description
Walker Cole International is currently searching for a Supply Chain Director to join a global pharmaceutical business based in London. As the Supply Chain Director, you will lead end to end Supply Chain activities across the global network.
Your duties and responsibilities as a Supply Chain Director will include:
- Ensure timely execution of order to distribution and material sourcing while managing external supplier performance to meet OTIF.
- Oversee European logistics, 3PL management, and warehousing to optimise transportation.
- Actively participate in S&OP, new product launches, and optimization projects.
- Build relationships with contract manufacturing and logistics suppliers, establish KPIs, and identify alternate vendors to ensure timely, high-quality, and flexible supply responses.
- Lead the Supply Chain team while fostering collaboration across functions to achieve supply chain excellence.
A successful candidate for the Supply Chain Director will demonstrate the following:
- Degree level education in Operations, Supply Chain Management, Business or Engineering.
- Leadership experience in operations, procurement, logistics or supply chain.
- Strong evidence of leading supply chain teams.
- Pharmaceutical industry experience.
