Job Description
Our client, a well-established consultancy that specializes in the design and delivery of a variety of projects, mainly high-end residential and commercial projects, is seeking a Structural Engineer. The Structural Engineer would be working from the Warwick office full-time with hybrid working options and an extensive benefits package including profit share, healthcare, and many more.
The Structural Engineer will be part of a team of 2 in the Warwick office, with support from 2 additional offices. The role involves working on a range of projects and requires the candidate to be willing to work hard and hit the ground running to accommodate the current workload.
Responsibilities
- Completion of beam and column calculations.
- Structural analysis.
- Sketching for visualizations.
- Making drawings, specifications, and computer models of structures for building contractors.
- Liaising with professionals to agree on safe designs that fit with the aesthetic concept of the construction.
- Developing construction plans.
- Ensuring team members understand tasks and timescales before starting.
Requirements
- MSc/MEng qualified in a relevant Civil/Structural Engineering discipline.
- Graduate Member of the ICE or IStructE working towards chartered status.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience.
- Experience with a mix of projects.
- Software experience – AutoCAD; Revit is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills.
Remuneration: Salary £38K – £48K, 22 Days Holiday + BH, Flexible Working, Membership fees, Route to Chartership.
