Job Role: Site Manager (Facade)

Location: Leeds

Salary: £55,000/£65,000 + Package

Site Manager – Facade/Externals: This project will build a £210m high-rise residential development in central Leeds.

Essential Criteria:

1. Solid experience in Facade/Roofing/Cladding
2. Proven involvement in the participation of the design review of the facade before the work starts on site
3. Prepare scope of work at Tender stage for the envelope package
4. Experience includes working from tender stage until completion of the package
5. Knowledge of UK building regulations including UK H&S construction laws and their application
6. Ability to manage Assistant Site Managers and subcontractors
7. Main contractor experience
8. SMSTS, CSCS Black Card (white card also acceptable in some cases) – must be current
9. Stress Management
10. High levels of quality standards
11. Demonstrates strong attention to detail and produces accurate work

Duties:

1. Manage interface with various engineering teams and lead a subject to completion. Clarify the technical information, scope of works and interfaces with other trades during the procurement phase.
2. Manage and coordinate all external façade activities, in respect of Health and Safety, Quality and Programme.
3. Manage the costs associated with the works and any variations, should they arise, in liaison with the Site Quantity Surveyors.
4. Lead weekly progress meetings and produce the required timeline of works/action points.
5. Manage the overall façade completion programme.
