Service Engineer (Ex-Forces / Diesel Plant)
£34,000 – £38,000 (OTE £45k) + 39 Hour week + Door to Door Pay + Benefits

Are you an Ex-Forces Engineer, Marine Engineer, Maintenance Engineer or someone with Diesel Engine experience, looking for a career in land-based mechanical engineering that offers expert training and career progression opportunities?
Do you want a field based role, where you’ll be covering a local patch and have ample opportunities to increase your earnings through overtime and bonuses?
In this role you will be servicing, repairing and maintaining a wide range of Plant and Agricultural machinery. You will receive expert, manufacturer accredited training on this company’s core machinery to become a fully independent and autonomous Field Engineer. Also, there are progression opportunities into supervisory positions and even depot management, for highly motivated employees.
This company is a market leading manufacturer and supplier of plant and agricultural equipment in the United Kingdom. They have built a solid reputation over the last 40 years for providing the best quality equipment and have grown consistently since their start and are looking to capitalise on this growth with this recent vacancy.
The Role:
- Attending breakdowns at client sites, carrying out service and repairs on plant / agricultural equipment
- Carrying out routine maintenance, examinations, and fault finding
- Working a local patch around Inverness with door to door pay
- Optional overtime to significantly boost earnings
- Monday to Thursday 8am-4:30pm, early finish on Fridays
The Person:
- Ex-Forces Engineer, Marine Engineer, Service Engineer or similar
- Diesel Engine or Diagnostics knowledge
- Looking for training, progression and good overtime pay
