Job Description

Senior Procurement Manager / Head of Procurement (Greenfield)

Location: Hybrid / flexible across various UK locations ~ 2 days a week

JSS Search have partnered with a technology leading company to seek a talented Senior Procurement Manager to lead their indirect procurement team. In this role, you’ll drive procurement strategies, create/implement procurement processes, manage supplier relationships to deliver significant cost savings along with growing the value of procurement within the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the procurement function, ensuring effective category management and cost-effective strategies.
  • Develop and implement procurement performance measures to drive continuous improvement.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across various departments, aligning procurement objectives with business goals.
  • Oversee sourcing processes for external products/services to ensure efficiency and suitability.
  • Negotiate supplier contracts to achieve favourable terms and implement robust contract management processes.
  • Collaborate with Finance and business teams to leverage new systems for streamlining procurement processes.

Skills & Experience:

  • MCIPS qualified
  • Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and contract management skills
  • Experience working with finance/procurement systems
  • Strong leadership and people management capabilities
