Senior/Principal Carbon Consultant – London/Hybrid working

The Role
We are seeking a Senior/Principal Carbon Consultant to join a growing environmental service specialist within the built environment.
This role offers a unique opportunity to shape their embodied carbon service offering and lead high-profile projects across various sectors.
As a Senior/Principal Carbon Consultant, you will:
- Conduct whole life carbon assessments and develop reduction strategies for diverse projects.
- Contribute to the development of tools, methodologies, and best practices in embodied carbon assessment.
- Provide expert advice and build strong relationships with clients and project teams.
- Contribute to industry working groups and help shape embodied carbon regulations and standards.
- Guide junior team members and contribute to the growth of our sustainability practice.
- Be able to commute to the London office 2-3 days per week.
About You
To excel in this role, you will bring:
- 4+ years of experience in embodied carbon assessment and sustainable design.
- Proficiency in whole life carbon assessment tools and methodologies (e.g., OneClick LCA).
- Familiarity with relevant standards and circular economy principles.
- Ability to convey complex technical information to diverse audiences.
- Experience in project management and team leadership.
