A great new opportunity to join a Water sector specialist who has recently been awarded tier-one framework status with South West Water & Bristol Water. My client, a contractor with a company turnover of c£200 million, requires a Senior Mechanical Engineer to be involved in Turnkey clean water projects with values from £20 million to over £100 million.
Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for producing cost-effective design layouts, ensuring material costs, design time costs, delivery costs, and any additional impacts are taken into account.
- Ensure that designs consider all health & safety requirements and environmental issues.
- Coordinate designs with all internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor, update, and write procedures to aid the smooth running of the department.
Qualifications:
- Degree qualification or similar in an Engineering discipline.
- Significant experience of producing designs of process plant systems, ideally within the Water sector.
- Excellent communication skills.
Salary and Benefits:
£45,000 - £55,000 per annum with an attractive benefits package.
