Contract Senior Mechanical Design Engineer
Central London

Outside IR35
£45-48 p/h Ltd
I am currently working with a client of mine who is looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team on a 6-month contract. You\’ll be working on a variety of commercial, residential, and retail projects, helping to create practical, energy-efficient electrical designs. You\’ll collaborate closely with clients, architects, and contractors, seeing projects through from design to installation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design mechanical systems for commercial, residential, and retail projects.
- Produce detailed design drawings and specifications.
- Collaborate with clients and project teams to ensure smooth integration.
- Conduct site surveys and ensure designs meet regulations.
- Support projects throughout their lifecycle, from design to commissioning.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience designing mechanical systems for commercial, residential, or retail projects.
- Proficient in mechanical design software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
You will be paid an hourly rate of c£45-48 p/h in an Outside IR35 capacity.
