Job Description
Choralis Consulting have instructions to recruit a Management Accountant. The company has been established for over 10 years and generates revenues in excess of £300m. Their European operation turnover is at £200m with manufacturing and distribution operations all over the world. The design and development of their products are truly unique, and some of the largest corporates in the world sell their products.
The Role: To support the FD and assist with the day-to-day financial operations of the business and current projects. Acting as the first point of contact for all accounting-related issues, you will prepare and present the management accounts pack including budget, variances, forecasts, inter-company accounting, and balance sheet review and reconciliation. You will implement best practices to achieve an effective management accounting function and provide detailed analysis to support the decision-making process.
The Person: A graduate, QBE or finalist levels ACCA/CIMA/ACA with 3 to 5 years previous experience as a management accountant. Ideally with supply chain, distribution, retail, or multi-site European experience, but not essential. You should be calm and collected, professional, and comfortable working in a \’hands-on, get involved\’ business where team spirit and leadership skills are essential. Comfortable meeting deadlines and prioritizing your workload, you are looking for a challenge with real potential to develop into a more senior position. Hybrid working is useful. A strong technical accountant with advanced Excel and problem-solving skills is required. This could be a temporary to permanent assignment.
