Senior HVAC Engineer

An opportunity is available with our client, a Wetherby-based M&E contractor, who complete a range of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration installations, servicing, and maintenance/repairs across the West Yorkshire and surrounding areas. The role comes with a salary of up to £45k, with an up to £1,000 signing bonus, a company vehicle, door to door travel pay, 32 days holiday (including bank holidays), no mandatory on-call work, and overtime available starting at 1.5x hourly rate.

Our client offers a range of services within the M&E sector to clients across Yorkshire and the Humber from their offices based just outside Leeds. They have been in operation for over 40 years and turn over upwards of £40m per annum, working largely within the commercial sector with a client base that includes schools, colleges, hospitals, and prisons.

Job Requirements

1. Strong technical experience completing installations and servicing/repair works on Air Conditioning and Refrigeration equipment including VRV\’s, VRF\’s, Splits, and AHU\’s.
2. General mechanical experience is beneficial, including experience working on systems such as pumps, motors, and boilers desirable, but not essential.
3. Full UK driving licence.
4. Based within the West Yorkshire or surrounding areas.

Salary & Benefits

1. Salary £40,000 – £45,000, negotiable depending on experience.
2. Signing on bonus of up to £1,000.

5. 40 hour working week, Monday – Friday (no mandatory on call rota).
6. Overtime paid at 1.5x for anything over 8 hours, with additional rates agreed for any weekend/evening work undertaken.
7. 32 days holiday, including bank holidays.
