Are you a chemistry graduate or an analytical chemist looking to leave the laboratory/QC environment?
Delve are working with an analytical instrument company who are looking for a customer focused scientist looking to make the move into a Sales Engineer position. The Sales Engineer position would suit someone who prefers being hands on with analytical equipment, likes to travel and speak with customers.
Salary: £30-35k + commission + company car.
Location: Manchester area with some travel in the north of England, Scotland and Ireland.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform equipment demonstrations and installations for customers, this will also include post-sale support with troubleshooting and repairs when necessary
- Develop and maintain customer relationships
- Understand the analytical equipment and communicate effectively with the customer the technical advantages of the products
- Attend sales meetings and exhibitions
Key Requirements
- Degree educated in Chemistry or a closely related subject
- Prior experience in calibrating and troubleshooting analytical equipment
- An interest in tech and able to understand complex instrumentation and processes
- Excellent customer facing skills
- Valid driving license is essential
