Retail Planning Manager

Contract role

London

Hybrid – 4 days per week in the office

Our client is looking for an experienced Retail Planner to join their team on a contract basis.

You will be responsible for:

1. Communicating and ensuring adherence to the commercial principles relating to Global Inventory management, with strong management and assessment of inventory holding.
2. Optimising Global inventory by coordinating global stock rebalances and highlighting opportunities.
3. Preparing insightful analyses on Channel performance relative to plan and identifying risks to inventory targets.
4. Working with group finance alongside the Senior Manager to set annual Margin sales targets.
5. Preparing insightful analyses on Margin performance relative to target and tracking adherence by product.
6. Coordinating global stock rebalances; managing rebalance templates and publishing overviews of stock moves to the wider business.

Experience:

1. Demonstrated experience in a planning or analytical role.
2. Solid communication skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships with cross-functional teams.
3. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
4. Excellent/advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
5. Highly analytical, organised, and detail-oriented.
6. Driven and ambitious, with an aptitude to work in a fast-paced environment.
7. Problem solver, with an ability to drive results despite ambiguity and obstacles.
