Job Description
This is an opportunity for an Underwriter in the Renewable Energy space. You will be joining an aggressively growing and developing renewables book, working on a global and all syndicate platform, both onshore and offshore. The portfolio is both open market and facility with a large focus on wind, battery, and solar, but there is exposure within clean power (hydro, biomass, carbon capture).
You will be working in the energy field, currently with underwriting authority. Backgrounds in power generation, construction, engineering, or renewable product experience will be considered. As you would expect, this is a technical underwriting role, requiring strong analytics, numerical, and data experience.
A Lloyd’s background with authority is a strong preference; however, a broker with a renewals background will be considered. You could be an advanced Assistant Underwriter but have been underwriting with your own authority, looking to step up to the title and responsibility.
