Quantitative Economist - G10 Rates and FX

Job Description

Our client, a >$65BN AUM Hedge Fund, is looking to hire a G10 Economist/Strategist to join as a lead analyst for a PM.

You will be:

• Tracking and generating macro research around the ECB’s
• Producing detailed econometric modelling and consolidating the information
• Generating trade ideas across weekly, monthly and 3-6 month trading horizons

You MUST have:

• No more than 4-10 years experience
• Experience in a economist/strategist seat in a leading Buyside firm or Tier 1 Investment Bank
• A track record of generating successful trade ideas
• Experience with modelling, ideally inflation forecasting
• Experience with G10 Rates and FX (EM experience will be considered for an exceptional candidate)
• Fluency in Python is highly advised
