QA Manager Opportunity
Are you an experienced QA professional with a passion for driving quality and compliance in engineering? Join a leading company at the forefront of innovation, where you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping quality assurance systems and ensuring compliance with international standards.
About the Role
As QA Manager, you’ll be a key part of a dynamic team developing hardware, software, and firmware for cutting-edge products. With an increasing focus on the automotive sector, the business is expanding its quality and compliance efforts to meet industry-specific standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the company’s QA systems to meet required standards in collaboration with the engineering team.
- Act as the primary point of contact for QA topics with customers, supporting pre-sales activities, product qualifications, certifications, production deliveries, and failure analysis.
- Identify and resolve quality issues and non-conformities.
- Monitor quality performance through audits, management reviews, and customer feedback, ensuring actions are completed as agreed.
- Support the creation, revision, and maintenance of procedures, forms, and work instructions.
- Prepare quality documentation and reports to maintain transparency and accountability.
- Develop and maintain the Business Management System and associated documents.
- Prepare, manage, and maintain the audit schedule to ensure consistent quality oversight.
Qualifications and Experience Requirements
Mandatory:
- Engineering degree (or close international equivalent) in Electronics, Physics, Programming, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- ISO9001 accreditation and hands-on experience in implementing and developing quality or business management systems.
- Experience leading internal and external QA audits.
- Accreditation in ISO9001 internal auditing.
- Expertise in determining, negotiating, and agreeing on in-house quality procedures, standards, and specifications.
- Skills in recording, analysing, and reporting statistical information.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- Proven track record of project completion.
Optional but Beneficial:
- Understanding of automotive quality standards.
- Experience in risk management, engineering development, and product compliance legislation.
