Job Description

Role: Project Manager

Location: Teesside

Salary: £75,000 + Package

Our client, a regional contractor, is seeking to appoint a Project Manager on a permanent basis to cover schemes (Industrial, Commercial, Educational, Retail) throughout Teesside & the Northeast. Due to secured works in the region of £90m for 2025, they now have the need to bring in an experienced Project Manager to lead on projects between the value of £5m-£25m.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Confirming building plans with Surveyors, Architects, and Engineers
  2. Coordinating Site & Utility preparation (pre-construction)
  3. Creating work schedules so projects are completed before deadlines
  4. Purchasing or hiring building equipment and materials
  5. Overseeing building projects to ensure staff are working safely, productively, and to a high standard
  6. Monitoring construction budget to minimise overspending
  7. Providing progress reports to clients via phone, email, or meetings in person
  8. Negotiating with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors
  9. Liaising with Site Management in terms of build programmes and updates
