Job Description
A leading Consultancy is seeking a Programme Test Manager to lead a test team on OMS transformation projects.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for managing and leading a multi-vendor test team across multiple phases of testing (SIT/UAT/NFT/Regression), managing many competing demands and reporting on progress to both senior internal and external stakeholders – being the “face” of testing
- Responsible for creating and socialising tailored E2E test strategies – covering Integration testing, UAT, NFT and Regression testing
- Providing senior stakeholders with visibility of progress with regular reporting (EOD reports, Internal Working Group decks, Joint Working group, Steerco etc)
- Effectively raising and managing risks, proactively proposing mitigations
- Collaborating with and holding development teams accountable for build and defects and challenging where appropriate on requirements
- Providing advice on testing tools and leveraging them effectively within a project
- Proactively work towards testing solutions in challenging environments, leveraging a risk-based approach to support programme timelines
- Overseeing and refining defect management process
- An awareness of automation testing and how this can be leveraged to increase efficiency and quality of testing
- Taking responsibility for budgets, client deliverables and billing
The role requires:
- Investment Management & Asset Servicing experience, either through industry or programme delivery.
- Experience leading testing on large scale, complex engagements.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, business writing and professional skills, including being able to bridge both technical and business stakeholders.
- Test management tool proficiency (JIRA/HP ALM).
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication.
- Passionate and driven to make things happen – navigating challenging environments to help drive solutions and testing completion
- Strong exposure to Investment Management/Asset Management OMS platforms such as: CRD, BlackRock Aladdin, SimCorp, Thinkfolio etc.
