Job Description

Our client is a well-established, global market leader and has a permanent vacancy for a Mechanical, Electromechanical or Mechatronic Engineer. You will be required to deliver the very best technical support to customers. Within the role, you will be required to support with technical inquiries, investigate product claims, test products for customers or other subsidiaries, create various technical documentation, identify, develop and deliver training, and perform market research.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  1. Mechanical, Mechatronics Engineering or Electromechanical degree, 2:2 minimum
  2. A willingness to learn Basic Electrical Engineering principles.
  3. Experience of writing technical reports.
  4. SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software.
  5. Ability to work as part of a multicultural team.
  6. A valid in-date passport, as there will be some European travel in the role.
  7. Excellent spoken and written English.

Desirable:

  1. Experience with design and principle of operation of temperature control equipment.
  2. Experience of designing mechanical components or assemblies for industrial machinery.
  3. Experience of planning and managing own projects.
  4. Experience of working with customers and suppliers.
  5. LabView.
  6. A driving licence, permitting you to drive in the UK.
  7. Japanese skills.
  8. Technical training experience.
