What will you do?
The Production Supervisor oversees daily manufacturing operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety in the production process. This role is responsible for managing a team of production workers, coordinating schedules, and implementing best practices to achieve production targets.
What are the Essential duties and responsibilities?
- Supervise all Production Team Leaders.
- Develop and implement production schedules/plans in accordance with customer orders and production capacity.
- Manage inventory levels (finished good safety stock & WIP) to ensure that there is adequate inventory on hand to meet production demands.
- Work closely with maintenance and quality daily ensuring team members have necessary support in accomplishing their daily tasks.
- Coordinate with other teams, such as engineering, purchasing, and sales, to ensure that production goals are met.
- Ensure that production activities are conducted in a safe and efficient manner.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve production efficiency and effectiveness.
- Be a key member of the team that promotes and executes ISO compliance.

What Does Success Look Like in This Role?
Success in this role has three key results areas; 90 % production efficiency validated by schedule attainment, 80 % safety stock inventory levels maintained, and 80% team member satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
