Job Description
About this Position: We are seeking a Lead Systems Engineer to join our Integrated Project Team (IPT), working on the development of next-generation Electronic Warfare and Radar systems. This role requires strong systems engineering expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to collaborate across multiple disciplines.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead a multi-disciplinary team to develop requirements, models, and system architectures.
- Contribute to the architectural vision and support long-term capability roadmaps.
- Apply System-of-Systems and product development approaches to ensure project alignment.
- Engage with customers and stakeholders to capture system needs and constraints.
- Conduct trade space analysis to inform key high-level design decisions.
- Define functional and behavioral system aspects and derive requirements at all levels.
- Work with the Project Manager to estimate project costs and explore alternative solutions.
- Provide mentorship and coaching in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Systems Architecture.
- Support design reviews and provide technical consultation across projects.
Experience Required:
- Strong experience in requirements management, definition, and apportionment.
- Proficiency in DOORS at a specialist level.
- Familiarity with EW, RF systems, and radar system design.
- Knowledge of Atlassian tools, Cameo Systems Modeller, or MATLAB.
- Experience working across engineering disciplines and understanding system specifications.
- In-depth knowledge of systems engineering processes, lifecycles, and verification methods.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with experience in multidisciplinary teams.
- Candidates must be eligible for full security clearance.
