Job Description
JOB PURPOSE: Diagnose and rectify machine problems and breakdowns. Train customers in operation, maintenance, and safety aspects. Conduct regular routine service of machines and associated equipment. Promote tooling sales and sales of maintenance contracts. Promote sales of machine tools and associated equipment.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
- A suitable engineering qualification – HNC/ Degree ideally with electrical element being a large part of learning.
- Previous field experience in laser machinery would be an advantage or an apprentice trained engineer with at least one year’s practical experience in an engineering-based role.
- Understanding of electrical/electronic/hydraulic and mechanical drawings and systems.
- Strong electrical experience including fault finding skills, schematic understanding.
- PLC and mechanical experience.
- Fanuc experience an advantage.
- Enthusiastic and self-motivated.
- Smart and professional presentation.
