Engineering Lead Role

  • Managing, motivating and mentoring the engineering team on site in line with KPI and budgetary targets, ensuring the team delivers effective fault diagnosis and repairs to support a demanding operational environment.
  • Managing any contractor activity on site, liaising directly with engineering suppliers.
  • Ensuring all equipment operates to the required outputs through the planning and execution of preventative maintenance activities.
  • Ensuring standards are maintained for all work carried out and appropriate records are completed and signed off.

Requirements

  • Hold an NVQ Level 3 in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering and/or have completed an apprenticeship (mechanical/electrical/control skills) with an electrical bias.
  • Engineering experience in a high-speed/volume manufacturing or production-type environment; FMCG and experience in managing, motivating, and mentoring a small team.
  • Network experience would be beneficial.
