Electronics Engineer – Senior
Overview

Responsibilities
- Integration and regression testing.
- Testing next Mobile User Objective System (MUOS) Satellite Communication System with Handheld, Manpack, Small Form Fit (HMS) Tactical Manpack Radios and actively support other major testing events for the next full rate production Manpack and Leader Radios.
- Manage ULTR-A Laboratory MUOS profiles and associated COMSEC keys.
- Interfacing with MUOS engineers at the Navy and the Space Force for MUOS characterizing testing and various MUOS feature deployment testing.
- Provide subject matter expertise with installing, configuring, and operating Electronic Warfare Planning and Management Tool (EWPMT) as version updates are periodically released.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to team across disciplines.
- Demonstrated experience in engineering processes.
- Knowledge, skills and abilities surrounding briefing complex technical concepts to tech professionals and the non-technical professionals.
- Experienced in Tactical Radio Integration and Test Engineering with the ability to juggle competing priorities and deadlines.
- Laboratory and Field Based testing for major Tactical Radios milestone events.
- Possess a respectful team member cadence.
- Skilled in UNIX, C/C++, ClearCase, JENM, OPNET, MATLAB, Microsoft .NET, OTAM, CISCO, Python, Atom Planning Tool.
Experience in:
- Legacy SATCOM 181 Dedicated, 182 5k DAMA, 183 25k DAMA communication, Soldier Radio Waveform (SRW), SINCGARS waveform for various integration in laboratory.
- Simulation Modeling Engineer.
- Field testing including new prototype antennas.
Clearance:
- Current DoD Secret level clearance.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in STEM or relevant field, or equivalent years of direct applicable experience.
- 4 years of direct applicable experience can be substituted in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
- 10-15 years of experience.
Location:
- Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Maryland.
- Monday-Friday. Schedule flexing is available with the PM’s approval.
Travel:
- Possible travel.
