Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Manager to oversee electrical installations on a high-profile residential and commercial construction site. The successful candidate will have proven expertise in managing electrical systems for both residential and commercial projects, and will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of all electrical works, in line with project requirements, safety standards, and timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise electrical installations across residential and commercial areas of the site.
- Coordinate and oversee all electrical works to ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to align project objectives.
- Ensure electrical works are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- Review project specifications, plans, and designs, and provide input on electrical requirements.
- Maintain a strong focus on health and safety, conducting regular risk assessments and safety audits.
- Manage the procurement and delivery of electrical materials and equipment.
- Supervise and mentor electrical teams and subcontractors, ensuring quality and efficiency.
- Monitor progress of electrical work, report on any potential delays or issues, and provide solutions.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to electrical installations.
- Maintain clear and open communication with the client and all relevant parties.
Requirements:
- ECS card

- Proven experience as an Electrical Manager on residential and commercial sites.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, regulations, and safety standards (e.g., 18th Edition, NICEIC).
- Excellent project management skills, with a track record of managing large-scale projects.
- Experience overseeing electrical teams and subcontractors.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve technical issues efficiently.
- A relevant electrical qualification (e.g., City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent).
- Full driving license.
